Author Guidelines
During article preparation please follow the requirements
ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Confirmation of the university, the article was written in, recommendations for publication, the conclusion of the expert committee, signed by an academic advisor or the head of a university with a seal should be attached. The signatures of all authors stating that this work was not submitted for publication to other publishers should be put at the end of the text. Full name, position, academic degree or academic title of author, his/her address, telephone, fax and e-mail for correspondence are necessary.
2. The Text of the article should be printed on one-sided standard sheet (A4), line interval 1.5 (28-30 lines per page), alignment - 2.0 cm. Article size, including pictures, references and summary should not exceed 5-6 pages; references, lectures size should not exceed 10 pages; abstract and reviews should not exceed 3-5 pages. The article should be sent in two copies.
3. The article also should be submitted on a CD-R disc followed by IBM standard in Word 6.0 and up, codes ASII (alternative), Word 6.7, typeface Times New Roman, font size 14 as follows:
UDC
a) Full name of authors;
b) Name of the article;
c) Name of the university the article was written in;
d) Article summary (20-25 lines, study methods, results) in Ukrainian, Russian and English. The article title should be stated in each summary;
d) Keywords in Ukrainian, Russian, English;
e) Article text (original and experimental studies description) should be structured as follows:
- Problem definition and its connection with important scientific and practical tasks;
- Analysis of recent researches and publications in which the problem solution is highlighted that are the basis for the author; pointing out the unresolved issues of the problem which the article is devoted to;
- Formulation of the article purposes (problems);
- The main issues of the research and completed substantiation of scientific results;
- The research conclusions and recommendations for further researches in this area;
- Each of these sections should be displayed.
g) References in alphabetical order (due to the requirements of State Standard);
f) Authors’ addresses.
4. Articles are published in the journal only in Ukrainian.
5. Illustrations (diagrams, figures, photographs, tables) should be sent in two copies.
Sizes of photos are 13x18, 9x12, 6x9 cm. On the back of each illustration one should specify the number, names of authors and marks "Top", "Bottom". In micrographs one should indicate zoom (lens ring) and material dye method (impregnation). Photos should be of high contrast, on thin glossy paper; pictures should be clear; drawings, diagrams should be made with ink.
6. All symbols measures (measurement units, digital data of clinical and laboratory studies) should be presented according to the International System of Units (SI), terminology should be specified due to the international classification of diseases.
7. The species, sex, number of animals, methods of anesthesia during painful manipulations for the animals, the method of their sacrifice or sampling for laboratory tests according to the regulations of humane treatment of animals should be indicated in the description of experimental studies. The names of companies and devices should be given in the original transcription.
8. The editors revise terminological and stylistic mistakes, remove unnecessary images and streamline text.
9. The articles, prepared without the observance of these rules, are not accepted.
10. Information about an author. Author’s full name, position, academic degree or title, form of participation in the symposium (presentation, poster or just publishing), address, phone number, e-mail (if available), equipment necessary for report and hotel booking should be stated.
Publication of an article in the journal “Bulletin of Researches” or “Infectious diseases” costs 80 UAH per page.
ABSTRACTS REQUIREMENTS
Abstracts should be printed on one-sided standard A4 sheet (210x297 mm) in two copies and on CD disk, Microsoft Word, abstract size 1 page, in Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, English languages; alignment 20 mm at all sides, typeface Times New Roman, font size 14, line interval 1.5, auto-hyphenation, full justification for the main text (paragraph shift 1.27 cm), center alignment for the title. Title printed in italics. Authors’ names should be indicated at the first paragraph, title (in bold) at the second one, the name of the university in which the research was performed, the city at the third one, the main text of abstracts at the fourth. Abstracts should be signed by all the authors and contain details of one of the authors (address, phone, e-mail) for correspondence with the organizing committee; confirmation of the university, recommendations for publication, the conclusion of the expert committee, signed by an academic advisor or the head of a university with a seal should be attached. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the given information.
Publication of an article in the journal costs 50 UAH per page. The payment should be made by postal order.
