Provision of medicines is one of the most important tasks of the State level. According to data of foreign scientific research one in ten people suffers from Diabetes mellitus. This study aimed to analyze the consumption and expenditure per day of oral antidiabetic medicines in Ukraine during 2014-2016. The study of drug consumption was conducted using ATC/DDD methodology. It has been established a slight decreasing of A10B group agents’ consumption in the period of 2014-2015. In 2016 there was a tendency to increase the value of DDDs/1000 PD.
