Аннотація

Background. The assessment of the risk of development of production-related and occupational morbidities is the basis for decision-making on occupational risk management and should aim at creating safe labour conditions and diseases prevention

Objective. The purpose of the work was to assess the priori occupational health risk for the workers of the mechanical workshop.

Methods. Occupational risk indicators were calculated: morbidity rate (R), relative risk (RR), attributive risk in absolute numbers (ARe) and percentages (ARe,%).

Results. It was found that the highest rates of relative risk were observed among ear diseases and mastoid process, respiratory diseases, eye and adrenal diseases, skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases, infectious and parasitic diseases, digestive diseases, genitourinary diseases, bone and muscle diseases systems and connective tissue.

Conclusions. A high rate of the relative risk of the disease indicates a high degree of its professional conditionality and relates them to production-related morbidity. The proportion of diseases caused by the influence of harmful labour conditions exceeded the indicators among the population as a whole, which confirms the influence of harmful labour conditions on the health of workers of the mechanical workshop.
